*The slots roll down. The first lands on Akira. The second, on Battler. The third, on Kazuo. And, finally, Masuno slaps on a poor drawing of Yozora's face where there would be a fourth.*
"...Has this ever happened before? A four way tie? Christ, you people, I swear. You're all out to make things difficult for me."
Masuno sighs, before he pulls the lever on the side of the slot machine. And then...
*The slots roll down, and land on Akira.*
Innocent
"This wasn't much of a surprise. If the Blackened is among those chosen, it's still only a 25% chance of winning. Anyways, let's move on with it..."
Duel: Akira
Another platform raises up, carrying Masuno and Akira both above the others. An axe falls down near Akira, as Masuno takes up his signature spear.
Akira, like Jay, makes the first move. Masuno dodges a few hits, before realizing that he would have to take one in order to ensure his win. They would both tire out eventually, and then it would be anyone's game. And so, as Akira swings once more, Masuno quickly raises his left arm to block it. He winces in pain, as the arm starts bleeding quite a bit. However, at this point, he impales Akira with his spear. Akira dies almost instantly, and Masuno then goes the extra mile. He swings his spear around, slamming Akira into a wall, as their dead body falls down near the audience...
Suddenly, Masuno walks out, standing over the edge. He yells out, "I'm not done! Not yet!" Masuno slams one foot, and chains shoot out from the ground. They surround Vinicius, and tightly bind him. And then, one more chain shoots out from the ceiling, latching on to the chains already binding Vinicius. He's then lifted, and stops just a bit over the platform, right in front of Masuno.
Masuno proceeds to stab Vinicius many times, no less than twenty in total. Screams echo through the trial room. Blood covers both Masuno and Vinicius, and some drops down to the floor beneath. Then, Masuno swings his spear out, severing the chain above Vinicius. Vinicius's body falls to the ground, his eyes wide with horror and clouding with the touch of death.
"Allow that to serve a message to you all, ladies and gentlemen! It was stated that after two trials of inactivity, you will be executed! Allow this to be a reminder that I plan to go through with that, without hesitation!"
That night, everyone went to their dorms horrified. What had been witnessed today might never be forgotten again...
Blackened has 24 hours to send in their kill. They now have the ability to kill two people instead of one. As well as this, the third floor has been opened. What a day!
